As an African from the diaspora it helps if you learn some of the language I visit Ethiopia and The Gambia allot. So I learned to speak a little Amharic and Wolof it gets you far if you make the effort. I think Africans in the Diaspora should learn to speak at least one African language, it will bring you closer to Africa and Africans.

I have never seen a positive report on African Diasporans going back to Africa, its not easy I know many Africans that are very black in mind as well as look. This reporter is a snearing closet racist and should grow up.

Maybe you should listen more carefully and be slow to draw conclusions. She never said "open sores", but rather open sewers.

Ashanti history very important points 1874 the Ashanti tried to industialise and change the economy. The British instigated a very bloody war to stop this around the same time in Japan 1867 you had the meiji restoration. When Japan industrialised look at Japan now Ashanti & some Japanese clans are a Warrior people. Both wanted to improve and defend their lands just like any other human being. When Africans & diaspora Africans have positive dialogue some people talk with their fear.

Wrong again, gold was only one commodity the Europeans where after, Europeans where addicted to sugar. Muslims Moors controlled the importation of sugar and other nice foods into Europe and grew rich. The Europeans were desperate to break that monopoly

This is true, but there was no Chattle slavery in Africa because Africa was still feudal. The Ashanti attempted to industrialise and change the economy the British had seven bloody wars with the Ashanti to stop this. Europeans sold women and children to the Moors in Spain for sugar does this make all Europeans bad people?
