I think Valjean likes Cosette a bit tooo much.....maybe it's just his watery eyes. He also stole my hairstyle at some point while living in the convent on Petit-Picpus, despite me not being born yet for at least another 160 years.
I agree. Azelma needs love! And the anime doesn't show enough Thenardier. But good, pretty vidier nonetheless!

- This anime, is annoying, because it isnt really like the book "the miserable", i have only seen 2 a half ep, but until now, it nothing what the book is ((I'm at page about 300 in the book[there is about 500 pages])) xD.

There were a time in the book where they, uhm... I was almost beginning to think Disgusting! - Because it was like "She was what he needed, they could fill each other hearts, with the love they never had", i was like: Whaaat? xD
After that there stood: Cosette was like a daughter to him -.-'

It's probably an abridged version. My own copy is around 1200 pages.
Anyway, the first few episodes depart from canon quite a bit, but the later ones stick to it surprisingly closely. I've been following the anime since day one and I agree that the first five or six were kind of irritating, but it grew on me after that.
