You can teach a Maine Coon cat to do tricks just like you would with a dog. I've tried teaching the other cats to do tricks but they just don't learn like a Maine Coon does. I taught Layne those tricks when he was less than a year old (he's 8 now) and he remembers all the tricks even if he hasn't done them in months.
