Let's focus on a solution, and stop wasting time adapting an ineffective, costly to implement and small scale attempt at curbing the issue. (It's like throwing an anchor out into space in the hopes we snag something that can stop the world from spinning, so we could freeze time to think this through a little more). I guess I could find a bigger analogy.

These big stars need to know the truth, think bigger... this is a global problem. Maize based fuel is a but a cork in a cracking Hover Dam (couldn't think of a 'bigger' analogy an American would understand. FOr every energy unit (1) used to make maize based ethanol only 1.3 units is created.

Wow is this ever short sighted... Think harder people... burning food is not the answer... Hasn't anyone read Rolling Stone lately... The US is the world's largest corn exporter, so let's burn our food now and let poorer nations feed themselves?

So while the rest of the world goes to the heart of the problem: car dependence, the greedy, ignorant, obese fucking americans are still stuck trying to find alternatives to cheap, abundand fossil fuels. The problem is greed, and the solution is consume less.

Why don't they make more cars that run of ethanol available? Or why don't they make cars for us that run on water or something? You know what I mean

Check out the other episodes from Clean My Ride. Sarah Silverman in episode 4 is a riot and Jenny Wade in episode 2 is awesome.

Yes, we gotta become free of "big (dirty) oil"; but this is just a commercial for big subsidized American corn boon doggles; meanwhile we won't import cheaper Brazilian ethanol. Plug in hybrids should be produced by the million and SUV's need to be taxed, not subsidized by the IRS!

This is an excellent video. I found out about it reading the News Channel on the Wii. One solution I see for the global warming issue is to simply purchase a bicycle for short to medium trips instead of looking down on bicycles as a poor man's alternative for transportation. Bicycle = Zero Carbon Emmisions. (unless you pass-gas...)
