drumking93 ::: Favorites I'm not real sure what the wrestling term for uchi-mata is... I do know that if they hop with me more than one time that it transitions fantastically into a belly to back suplex!!!!!! 07-10-12 20:52:29 __________________________________________________
drumking93 ::: Favorites Right on! Both are great sports, but; on the whole, I think wrestling is does have a much greater element of intensity... constant explosive movement. 07-10-12 20:50:10 __________________________________________________
JustGuess500 ::: Favorites Whats with all the wrestling-judo hostility? They're both great sports that have a lot in common. Now, what do wrestlers call that throw thats basically the same thing as an uchi-mata? (my favorite throw) 07-10-12 15:28:42 __________________________________________________
chibipandaz ::: Favorites o and at :25 usa pwning canada! 07-10-11 01:39:55 __________________________________________________
chibipandaz ::: Favorites BADASS 07-10-11 01:34:04 __________________________________________________
drumking93 ::: Favorites Liddel wouldn't stand still long enough for Couture to take a lot of these throws. That's why in MMA you see mostly double and single leg takedowns, or a lot of greco-roman upper body takedowns... Randy is fantastic at these, just look what he did to Gonzaga in his last title defense.. 07-10-06 21:25:34 __________________________________________________
drumking93 ::: Favorites Because the dynamics of MMA are much different than wrestling... if the throw goes bad in MMA you've given your opponent your back... Also as you can see, all of these throws are taken from a tie-up or a clinched position. Liddel wouldn't stand still long enough for Couture to take a lot of these throws. 07-10-06 21:23:48 __________________________________________________
drumking93 ::: Favorites Jap whizzer is a little different... you wait or bait the guy into pulling a cross-side arm-drag. When he pulls your arm across you come deep inside his arm and then while holding his arm across your body you rotate your upper body very fast to force him to move backwards... at the same time you start lowering your level to "corkscrew him to the ground. If finished properly, your shoulder should be pinning his shoulder to the mat... 07-10-06 21:18:48 __________________________________________________
baraka300 ::: Favorites alright but are an arm spin and a jap whizzer the same thing 07-09-26 18:17:00 __________________________________________________
luchamx ::: Favorites Name is "Arm spin Throw". In spanish, this technic have a few: "Arm throw with spin", "Sacrifice Throw", or "Tekkol" (turkish name). 07-09-25 10:03:49 __________________________________________________ |
