Sure it's trash and they should be ashamed of themselves, but kids are much more likely to be interested in what they aren't allowed to see, that what they ARE allowed to. The trick isn't prevention, it's showing the kids why not to want to see it. If a kid sees that crap and STILL wants to see it, they need professional help.
