It caused damages in the garage and inside the police compound and shattered windows in nearby houses in the town of Zarautz in the Gipuzkoa province,Basque Government's Interior Councilor Javier Balza said the armed Basque group ETA was behind the attack. He said that the bomb was made of between three and five kilograms (seven to 11 pounds) of explosive and had been placed next to the wall around the police station. There was no warning of the attack but Basque Interior Ministry suspects of the armed Basque group ETA for the explosion, news reports said.
