Jarsia ::: Favorites Got a few facts wrong there. Galactica is bigger yes, but a galaxy class has a crew of close to 1000, not 100(not sure if that was a typo though). And it's meant for exploration, not policing duty. Still, it's weapons are designed to be ready for fighting, so a photon is equal to a pretty powerful nuke(70 megatons or so I believe). At any rate, galactica has no shields, and could do little against a galaxy class. blaisejones ::: Favorites galactica would be at least 2x bigger than the Enterprise i think, crew of around 3000 compared to crew of 100???? and galactica was made for war complete with fighter squadrons, enterprise was more of a police action kind of ship. and going into weapons, photon's being as powerful as a nuke? why would the ship have such huge firepower? its not a war ship. i was thinking more like those ship to ship missiles or artillery batteries the galactica or the pegasus has. 07-06-24 06:01:03 __________________________________________________
